NAWT Training Sessions

Whether you are an experienced professional or just starting out in the onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) industry, you will find a great deal of value in the National Association of Wastewater Technicians training, education, and certification programs. Upon the successful completion of our various training and education programs, you will receive a Certification in the corresponding subject matter, and you will be listed on the NAWT (the NAWT or our) National Registry of NAWT Certified Professionals.

Each NAWT training course provides the practitioner with a comprehensive study of the subject matter for the specific Certification being obtained. All courses offered cover basic terminology and industry standards, as well as current utilized technologies and applications. Participants may also be required to demonstrate a degree of competency in the field prior to qualifying for the certification. In addition, all participants must complete a rigorous exam that covers the material presented to receive the final certification in the course.

Presently, all NAWT certifications require Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to remain valid. Each certification must be renewed with approved continuing education units every two years.

NAWT recognizes there are a multitude of options available for continuing education opportunities and we work closely with our training partners, training providers, industry conferences and conventions, and other organizations to allow for NAWT Professional Development whenever possible.
